b. A= 15 × 15 =225 ; B 20×20=400

c . AC est l'hypoténuse du triangle rectangle ABC .

Dans le triangle rectangle ABC ,

d'après le théorème de Pythagore

Donc , d'après le théorème de Pythagore [AC] est égale à 20 hm

d. Dans le triangle ACD ,

d'après la réciproque du théorème de Pythagore :

[tex]ad { }^{2} + ac {}^{2} = dc {}^{2} \\ 15 {}^{2} + ac {}^{2} = 25 {}^{2} \\ 225 + ac {}^{2} = 625 \\ ac {}^{2} = 625 - 225 \\ ac {}^{2} = 400 \\ ac = \sqrt{400} \\ ac = 20[/tex] hm

Donc , d'après la réciproque du théorème de Pythagore le triangle ACD est rectangle en A.
